Are three heads better than one?
Benefits of working in a group:
More work is able to be completed quicker.
More ideas and approaches are created.
A larger skill set is available.
More connections into industry and potential clients.
A gathering of interests and hobbies may be relevant to briefs or clients.
Constant critiques of work create more concise solutions.
A team ethos is created, something not possible to have working alone.
Negatives of working in a group:
Compromises will have to be made as opinions don't always agree.
Naturally developed leaders in a group may create divide in a group.
Meetings etc may become difficult with members with poor punctuality.
Egos may clash in group decisions.
Work load may not be split evenly.
Approaches towards design may clash and design solutions may suffer due to this.
